2025, The Year of The Spirit
October 31st at the Retreat while we were praying, I quietly heard The Year of the Spirit
I was a bit taken aback cos first, I wasn't praying about 2025 per day
And I remember that the word for 2020 for us at Word Alive and the body of Christ was also The Year Of The Spirit
So I was asking God if themes for years are repeated on the Spirit realm and what this actually meant.
It didn't make sense to me
There was also the fear of what 2020 was.
I mean all of our lives were paused completely and new courses were charted for men in that year.
In my head, I began to wonder what was really inside of 2025.
I let it go and totally moved on from it until December
I was at The Feast (an annual meeting my church organizes) and while worshipping I heard it again:
2025; The Year of The Spirit
I was trying to make sense of it and asked God to give clear confirmations
And right there, my pastor paused in the middle of his sermon and went:
I didn't want to share this before but let me get ahead of myself. Listen to me carefully. God told me to share this, 2025 is the year of The Spirit.
He was teaching on something else entirely at that point.
How he landed on this word, I knew it was the confirmation I had asked for. God needed me to be sure and know that this was exactly what He was saying
So I began to ask the Lord, if it is the year of the Spirit, what are you doing Lord?
Are we repeating notes from 2020?
What exactly is happening?
So I began to write down the things the Lord showed me from here
2025; The Year of the Spirit
Like 2020, 2025 marks the opening of a calendar and a signal released to the earth for a heavenly agenda
It is exactly what it is titled: A Year of The Spirit
A year owned by the Spirit
A year meant for the spirit
A year In which outcomes are largely determined by the Spirit
A move of the Spirit is released this year
But first, I see a brief window open where we have to go back to the things we missed in 2020. I heard this clearly that a tiny part of this year will be a "course retake" for so many and it is an act of mercy from God. A chance to get it right and course correct.
So many things that the Lord wanted to do with 2020, some of us entered these vision and some of us backslid along the way
A window opens in this year to quickly get back on track
It is mercy, please take advantage and get on it.
And I have heard this confirmed in the mouth of other servants of God.
2025 will bring with it disruption
Destruction
A scattering, crumbling and bringing down of systems that do not serve in the season we enter
The aim is Peace, direction and building back.
I see pestilence coming
And I see the Lord arrive at the back of its clouds
“God came from Teman, The Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah His glory covered the heavens, And the earth was full of His praise. His brightness was like the light; He had rays flashing from His hand, And there His power was hidden. Before Him went pestilence, And fever followed at His feet.” Habakkuk 3:3-5 NKJV
Only those with the Spirit as their compass will overcome
Take away that familiarity, you have not taken this road before
Though it is a year like 2020, it is not 2020.
The children of God will move and overcome only by the sight — The leading of the Spirit!
Again, a window opens to revisit the lessons and instructions the body of Christ missed from 2020. The ones we followed and got cold on along the line. The opening will be very swift
Wait for the stirring of that water and jump into it immediately
Your obedience will save you years
2025 is a year of years
A very busy year
The world will fasten her seat belt this year
Like I shared, disruption is coming
If you've been planning, so many things will not go as planned
It is fine. Trust the Lord
Trust His own plan
Do not be in a hurry to move on anything.
Have a reserve
Have a reserve, please!
2025 is a year of thirst
A year of filling
There is a huge filling of tanks until overflowing
The year of the brides, of the virgins of God
Lol. You thought you saw weddings last year? You are about to be shocked
But beyond physical brides, it is the year of the brides of Christ
They will rise from the North, East, West and South
Unassuming men
Men who do not look like it
They will enter into things bigger than them
Men will wonder where they came from but these ones had been placed in hiding
They've been preparing since the first sound went out in 2017
2020 brought more of them in
It is now their year
They will rise into offices and strategic positionings
All of you, do not be foolish
Gather oil
Do not be like the 5 foolish virgins
Gather oil.
Shut down and gather oil
All of them were brides
All of them were waiting together
but not all gathered oil
The differentiating factor was that some had oil in reserve
This year, gather oil like your life depends on it; It Does!
You will need it, abruptly/suddenly
Stay in the secret place.
To the brides: it is almost time!
The Year of the Spirit
Of thirsty men
Of rivers of water bursting forth from men and coming out as fire. I literally saw this image.
The fire splattered all over the earth!
There is a spread of fire coming
But first, thirst
Pray it out
Pray for the thirst of the Nations
"Lands will dry up until reserves finish and men thirst"
Please again, pay attention to the impulses of the spirit.
By visions of the day and dreams of the night, solutions will be delivered through the body of Christ.
Repentance
Repentance!
This must come
This must happen
Even in the natural, rivers get dried up by pollution.
Repent!
Go with the presence of God this year
Learn the rhythm of the Spirit
Stay there and dance to it
Move with it!
Do not move until you get direction
Do not go ahead of the Spirit
Everything depends on this
Stay in the secret place
Stay with your Father
Everything flows from here
Stay with the Spirit!
He is launching and announcing men
This is where you are carried into purpose, destiny and life.
This is the foundation of the things you've seen long before now.
Again, the Spirit is the compass
You do not know the way
He guides you into fulfillment and manifestation
2025 brings with it thirst
If you thought you were thirsting for God before now, haha
Watch and see
Feed in into that thirst
Drink
Keep drinking
There is a new thirst being released
Even people who have never thirsted for the Lord before Begin to thirst
Men thirst for righteousness.
New thirst
New hunger
Sight has changed
Wings are here
New technologies
New innovations
The body of Christ needs to get ahead by information
Stay in the secret place until the Spirit reveals to those key to these things
Witty inventions are here
Strategic positionings
Nothing is happening by chance
Stay where you are asked to stay
For those that have labored long before now
Do not make the mistake of moving this year when the Lord did not command
Stay where you've been placed
Nothing happens here outside of the Spirit
I say it is the year of the Spirit
It is His Year
He is the main character
He determines ALL
HE IS THE HOW OF THIS SEASON
Follow the Spirit!
He is your compass.
I kept seeing a compass and an eagle. The eyes of the Eagle and the hands on the compass would suddenly switch towards the same direction and I will run after it in that direction
Infact, I remember the day I saw this I had reached out to Wale to help with a graphical representation but I wasn't sure if he had the time so I just said hello and didn't go back.
But I went ahead to Canva and quickly put it there

I just needed to quickly document the visuals of what I saw.
The eagle wasn't looking around or blinking rapidly
The eyes moved once and the hands on the compass moved with it, almost immediately
You will see another compass in the image with a location point. That also moved alongside the compass
Everything pointing where the eyes of the Eagle shifted to.
Like they were already programmed in wait
And I was reminded of the scripture in Ezekiel
“Each living being went in the direction it was looking. They went wherever the spirit caused them to go, but they did not turn when they moved. That is what the living beings looked like. Inside the area between the living beings, there was something that looked like burning coals of fire. This fire was like small torches that kept moving around among the living beings. The fire glowed brightly and lightning flashed from it. The living beings ran back and forth—as fast as lightning.” Ezekiel 1:12-14 ERV
And I was reminded of these words from 2020, I will share them here:
That all the things that appeared to have gone "wrong", every decision and painful situation, they've all brought us to this place
The spirit says we might not know it but this is exactly where He has been leading us to
All of the lessons
All of the pain and shame
The Fallings and failings
Struggles
Standing back and standing strong
This is where it has been leading you all along
Preparations have been ongoing long before you even knew God. All of you from various places, nations, and continents whose physical paths might never cross but with paths aligning. Everyone heading in the same direction. Each step (though looking like a failure on your end), a closer one to this
God is doing something and if we are sensitive in the spirit we can testify to this. A shift is happening
Each one went straight ahead. Wherever the spirit would go, they would go, without turning as they went. Ezekiel 1:12 NIV
There is a forward movement towards this prophecy and move of the spirit we are about to experience. Because this move belongs to the Spirit, only Him knows where everything will be happening. Only Him has all the details
Because only Him knows and God is so gracious, The spirit was sent to lead us to this place where everything will happen. The forward movement to this place started long ago, now more than ever we cannot afford to miss our way or get distracted
Now! More than ever
That anyhowness will not serve you in 2025.
Now, more than ever!
The appearance of the living creatures was like burning coals of fire or like torches. Fire moved back and forth among the creatures; it was bright, and lightning flashed out of it. Ezekiel 1:13 NIV
As they followed the spirit, Ezekiel saw that they looked like burning coals of fire. Torches
Now, Ezekiel had described these creatures before (please read the whole of Ezekiel 1), I doubt he'd have missed out on this description if he saw it in the verses before. Ezekiel only noticed this particular appearance as he watched them follow the Spirit, not looking left or right. See, there is a revival of fire about to Burn. The spirit just reminded me of what He said on Men becoming flammable this period
The fire I mentioned will spread will by the Spirit.
And speed will come from it
The creatures sped back and forth like flashes of lightning. Ezekiel 1:14 NIV
Speedy movement as we follow the Spirit.
Speed is coming!
But first, Fire.
And before Fire, a steady following.
No compromises
No distraction
No procrastination
It starts with following.
Again, do not neglect the secret place
No on and off
Stay with God
Order will be restored here
Broken Wings will be straightened
You fly again
Higher than ever
And this is where your Joy is hidden
For the spirit is the river that makes Glad the city of God
My direction is the magic wand
Visions and formulas are about to be released
Get all clearance from the Holy Spirit and not your desires
He will tell you what to do always.
See all to the latter when He does
Prioritize His voice and leading
And I heard this word:
"I am your compass. Learn how to use the compass"
Again, only those with the Spirit as their compass will overcome.
We will see diverse expressions of the Spirit of God
This is the season the world has been waiting for
We will see Him change lives and turn men around so swiftly
We will see men rise into destiny suddenly from nowhere
Don't think you don't know ó. He just needs men that follow
Let those who think they already know watch well and fall in line with the Spirit
He is the HOW of this season. You do not know!
We will see seasons overlapping each other
We will see dead men brought back to life
A surge of the power of God
I say: it is the Season of the Spirit
For we do not just count by years
We count in seasons
He has waited for this season
It is Time!
It is NOW!
GET ON BOARD!
“Again he measured one thousand, and it was a river that I could not cross; for the water was too deep, water in which one must swim, a river that could not be crossed.” Ezekiel 47:5 NKJV
There is a call into the deep of God
Jump into it
Swim in it
Do not try to get out or cross
There is no other side
This is the side, inside of this river!

There is a wave coming this year
A move of the Spirit like never before

Tell them to take prayers seriously and my word
You too, take it seriously
The leaders especially
Take it seriously!
A lot flows from here
Renew your hearts
Walk though before me perfect
"Do not do it your way again
Can you not see you've not profited in that way?
No mixtures
Not my way today and yours tomorrow. Mine only!"
Walk with me
Stay in my will
Stay in my presence
Only the people of my presence will get the keys to unlock
There is a switch coming
It will come by an Outpouring and it will erupt in the place of fellowship.
Wait for it!
"Pray about that investment before you take it. I am sending an investor but be sure this one is it"
"I have asked you to shut down, SHUT DOWN! I will lead you into the next only when and after you obey"
I see springs and a water creek
But I see honey coming from the spring as water and I hear these:
Ìtura
Sweetness
Joy
““Woe to the rebellious children,” says the Lord, “Who take counsel, but not of Me, And who devise plans, but not of My Spirit, That they may add sin to sin; Who walk to go down to Egypt, And have not asked My advice, To strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, And to trust in the shadow of Egypt!” Isaiah 30:1-2 NKJV
Do not devise plans outside of the Spirit
Don't take that short cut
You've struggled with it for so long so why do you want to do it now.
It is not your only option.
Walk with me!
I see a spread of a table with different foods
And I heard: Ẹ wá jẹun (Come and eat)

Thank You for the advantage of revelational knowledge
Thank You for The Year of The Spirit!
Lord we ask that You help us know what to do with these revelations per time
At every point in time this year and beyond, bring to our remembrance the words relevant to each season
Grant us wisdom to wade through
Grant us grace and direct us per time
Help us to know how and when to jump into the river once it is stirred
Holy Spirit, guide us, be our compass
Help us stay in fellowship with you
Help us embrace the secret place now more than ever
That no matter what, our gaze is fixed on You
We know to stay
And we take flight when we need to
This is the Year of The Spirit and we walk right in step with You Holy Spirit
